Wow! Back at Three Rivers with a humongous party involving the three main ranches and more. I love this world that Liz has created and it’s so fun to see all these amazing men and women that we’ve come to know. Their lives are real and not sugarcoated even though they are wealthy- there are health issues, rascally kids, and mundane tasks like driving the school bus to take all the kids on the ranch to school. Running beneath it all is a quiet faith that they rely on daily, even doing the hard task of taking their active families to church weekly. This is focused on Finn as he comes of age as he is making hard decisions for his life. There are also little Easter eggs with hints who the next series will highlight-I can’t wait. I’m so excited.
Clean. Christian emphasis but not overwhelming-a quiet faith that defines all they do.

I am so glad I read this book. It’s actually the second read. This time I read more carefully and understood more about the families and how they are connected and yet different -wise and ranch -wise.

My favorite stories are when I can put together the families and all the facts. Liz does a super job of building characters, families, ranches and stories. It is more enjoyable if you know the background of the families, but you could enjoy the story alone. Now we just have to wait for the next series to start.

This was a fun novella where we get to see a lot of perspectives from people from all three of the Three Rivers series. So many family and so much packed into this book. Months of time, events, babies, relationships, and more. It was so fun to see them all intertwined together like this.
