I enjoyed this tale of two business leaders who were open and honest about their lives with each other. Many love stories are built around misconceptions and missing information. I want to scream at those characters, “tell the truth”! I enjoyed the twists and turns in their relationship, but they were always upfront with each other about who they are and what has happened in their lives. I’m looking forward to book two!

Really enjoyed this book. It is a great beach read. Clean easy flowing book. I loved Staceys starkingness. She is owner of a B&B and she goes “undercover” as a guest in the upper class hotel. This starts everything. It goes up, comes down, goes back up again. I enjoyed the characters, both supporting and non supporting. I’m looking forward to reading all books in this series. First time reading this author and it won’t be the last. Very enjoyable, suitable for all ages.

All she hears is the jingle of keys and the cart being pushed through the door, no announcement of “room service”! All the while thinking he wants to know her better. Stacey accepts and thus begins a need to get to know Mr. Davenport better. The only problem is his last name isn’t Davenport and he wants to get to know her better and “bribes” her into lunch before he will tell her his correct last name. Want to find out how that goes? I really enjoyed this book! It held my interest from the first page and I read it in one sitting. You’ll really like the way Elana wove several people’s lives and locations into one story by showing how we respond to our friends and other ppl in our lives. I liked the theme of how the characters worked through past experiences and arrived at being better ppl–more ready to explore new situations and relationships. Good job!

This is the first book in the series by Elana Johnson and her crew AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!!The Series begins in Getaway Bay, Hawaii. You have a B&B owner (Stacey) vs. a hotel owner (Fisher). Just because one of them has a lot of money doesn’t always translate into their life being perfect.I SO LOVE the characters and how real they are. I would LOVE to go visit, and maybe even live in Hawaii one day and this story made me want to do it even more. I feel like these people and their friends are now my best friends.You will find yourself getting absorbed right into this story and cheer them on to end up together. Be careful, you will want to set aside along time to read this book because you won’t want to put it down.I just have to go and get the next novels in series and read them all. I can’t wait!I LOVE how this is a CLEAN story! In many ways, it makes it actually more enjoyable to read because you don’t have to skip anything to find the REAL story!Keep up the good work and keep these them coming!!

As my first experience with an Elana Johnson novel, I was well pleased. I found the story both interesting and entertaining. I prefer squeaky clean romance where the protagonists strictly adhere to the Christian standard of morality; however, in this instance, that standard is only partially met. Only the hero, Fisher, meets this standard. The heroin, Stacy, in a prior relationship is described as living with her boyfriend. Additionally, during an episode with Fisher, she begins unbuttoning his shirt with the intent of engaging in sexual relations prior to marriage. Fisher stops the process indicating that he will not participate outside a marriage covenant. So, I would describe this offering as clean, but not squeaky clean.Prior to meeting each other, both Stacy and Fisher have been disappointed in their prior relationships. However, Stacy is a bit more scarred by those experiences. Oddly enough, I had expected the fact that Fisher is a billionaire owner of a huge highly successful vacation hotel to be a major stumbling block for a relationship with the owner of a small bed and breakfast establishment. However, the major stumbling block actually was each of their past relationships. I recommend this well-written and engaging work to all my romance reading friends.

I enjoyed this book. The only thing that seemed a little far fetched was Stacey and Fisher falling in love in a week, talking marriage, kids and everything, then getting engaged. Guess there are actually people, especially rich people, that do that sort of thing, but I would’ve rather read about the proposal in an epilogue or something. Other than that I liked the story and characters.

Now four years she has been focused on running the B&B she owns and hanging out with her friends who also have sworn off men. A new motel has been built just down the way from her and she doesn’t like it because it is fancier and bigger and she thinks it is going to take customers away from her B&B. Then she meets the owner, Fisher, and realizes that he isn’t the kind of person she assumed he was. They start dating but Stacey still has her insecurity that he will leave her for someone else like the others did. When he suddenly leaves because his mother was in an accident and she did not get the message that was sent to her she assumes the worst. Will they be able to work things out or will she not ever talk to him again?

She owns a Bed and breakfast on a Hawaiian island and they built a large hotel just down from it and she worried that it would steal some of her business. She went to the hotel to see how luxurious it was and how her B&B compared, she ordered room service to find out how long it took to get food and then took a shower. Her food arrived almost the same time as her shower ended and she was not fully dressed when the food delivery was wheeled into her room without notifying her of their entrance. The delivery person was actually the hotel owner under cover and he wanted to make things right and he went back to her room after changing clothes and that encounter began his journey of learning all he could about her and their journey of business and dating.
