A fake wedding theme is almost always a sure-fire hit with me. This book didn’t miss. Sawyer makes my heart sigh. He’s sweet and charming, loyal and forgiving. Just, all the traits I look for in a good fictional hero. Jeri, oh precious Jeri. The woman has her own wagon train of baggage. Which makes for a dramatic, emotionally charged story, but leaves Sawyer navigating a minefield in the middle of their relationship. What I’m loving most about this series is that it features mature leading couples. I’ve reached a point in my life where I really appreciate reading about characters that I can relate to. And I can easily relate to large parts of Jeri’s experiences. Now, I’m really looking forward to reading more in this series.I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

Sweet and Sad and everything in between
Sawyer and Jeri both work on Second Chance Ranch. She’s in construction, helping bring the ranch back to life. He’s a cowboy mainly working with the horses, but all the other critters, too. They are attracted to each other, but until Jeri walks into his house in a case of mistaken house identity they had kinda scooted around each other. Things move quickly after that, a marriage of convenience, mostly him helping her, but also him hoping for the real thing. But apparently the real thing can’t be rushed and their relationship turns rocky. Learning to love each other is tough, learning to heal from past hurts and mistakes, even harder. Jeri and Sawyer are a wonderful, loving pair of people, and watching them become a loving couple was terrific.

An uplifting romance!
Nothing I didn’t like about this story. It hit all of my ticks for what makes me call in love with its characters, the plot and the world that the author creates for them. I really love that God has a part in this story but isn’t crammed down ones throat. He is woven into the fabric of this story and you can just see how important he is in the making of the lives of these 2 central characters and their upbringing. A wonderful feel good romance with real feeling a d sounding people who are interestingly flawed but drive to be decent.

Really good clean read
I loved the well rounded characters in this whole series. They were well written and had characters that you could connect with. The story line was believable and had you relating to all the characters. Each book left you wanting more. It was refreshing to read a love ???? story without all the sexual escapades of the main characters. Liked how she kept the older ones invoked with subsequent books. Great read.

Good Ending to Series.
This book was an excellent ending to the Last Chance Ranch series. Ms. Isaacson tied the main characters in each book together in manner that created the bond of family. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series and will recommend to family and friends. Liz Isaacson is one of my favorite authors.

Very likeable hero, a really good guy!
I liked the characters and the strong writing. It could have been the usual insta-love romance but even though this couple were attracted to each other they still needed to put in the work on their relationship. I especially liked how committed the hero was. I identified also with how his relationship with God was described.

Adele and Carson have a very touchy growth when it comes to their love. He has to let her go to follow her dream in New York City, but he is miserable without her. She has to come to the point to admit her dream hadn’t turned out the way she thought and that she missed Carson and loved him. A very good story.

One of the things I love about this series is that the characters are real people, with real life problems, and they aren’t in their very early twenties. They’ve been around the block once or twice and just figuring out how to deal with their baggage accumulated with a little spirituality thrown in. A great book to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

This is a wonderful story of love lost, then found again years later. Set on a ranch that’s the Last Chance for a menagerie of animals that still need love. It just goes to show how a little love, reflection and prayer can solve almost anything.

David and Sissy were engaged many years ago, but she broke it off and took off to see the world. Now they are both working at the ranch. This couple has a basic problem of not discussing things thoroughly. Sissy especially, she makes a statement but it never really covers the topic which leaves David jumping to his own conclusion. This is a very good story. I enjoyed reading it.

Great, clean love story!!
Nothing like finding an author you love when they have a bunch of books already to read. I got my first book off a free list and loved it. Now I have to get them I order as I read book 4 first. Then there are a bunch of other series. If I was a baseball fan I would say I hit a home run, but instead I will say I made a touchdown. It is so nice to have a wonderful storyline with no profanity or sex. All of the important parts came through clearly. Highly recommend this book and series.

Good, emotional, story
I found this to be a sweet, emotional story with faith and good main characters. And the supporting people were pretty good too.It didn’t take long for me to be pulling for Lance to find his forever after with Amber. He was just such a great guy, who was always there for anyone who needed something. And he really did care about people. He also paid attention to what was important to Amber.Amber was so afraid to trust her feelings because she had been wrong time and again when it came to men. This caused her to be wishy-washy with Lance. That made me want to slap her in the head one even though I got to understand some of her issues had helped make her that way. She had a sister and mother who made her feel invisible which had her questioning her worth.There is also a well done H.E.A. that I liked.

Loving this Last Chance
This has been a lovely series. This story of Lance and Amber who have been employees at Last Chance Ranch is touching, sweet and humbling. God fearing and loving Lance and Amber have their share of insecurities. Overcoming their histories, reticence and (in his case) shyness and (in her case) family is key to their happiness. And happiness is what is at the core of this story and series. Beautifully written.
