  1. jeanne Sewell

What I liked most about this series of book is the realistic challenges and spiritual burdens that are revealed and how the characters overcame their unique experiences. The importance of honest and sincere communication in the development of relationships was underscored throughout the dialogue.

  2. Deborah Froelich

Really enjoyed these three stories about the complexities of relations ships and learning how to build close loving relationships and a trusting relationship with God

  3. Evonne Hutton

I have a complaint…..there is only 3 books in this set! But then I do not think 6 would have been enough either.Liz Isaacson’s writing comes from the heart and it show in the wonderful compassion her characters possess. These books are not fairy tale stories but about wounded, flawed people finding God, themselves and love. I can honestly recommend these to any one that wishes for gentle romance.

  4. Janice Hamman

I just finished Book 3. I had trouble putting it down so I could get some work done. Each book was a heartwarming story. Liz, you are a gifted storyteller. You know how to turn your characters adversaries into loving relationships. I highly recommend these books

  5. Amazon Customer

This was a great 3 book set. I read all 3 books in two days. It keeps your interest and is hard to put down. The stories are real and before you know it, they are happening to you. I will definitely recommend these books for something to relax and go with the flow

  6. Rhonda Mashburn

I love books that are so realistic with normal struggles and how life is patterned in just the right way that God intends for it to be. Very good series.

  7. Kindle Customer

I enjoyed each one of these books as they were tied together with characters and a common place to call home, at least for awhile. I thought the story lines developed a little too slowly but it still kept my interest to the point of not wanting to stop reading. I am hoping the author will write a sequel to each storyline.

  8. Kathy W

This is the best box set I have ever read!! Three excellent written books that could stand on their own, but such a treat to read them all together. The characters are human, the story lines are believable, and true kindness between friends is touching. People pulling together, helping each other expecting nothing in return. Amazingly written. Give yourself a gift, have your heart touched over and over again by reading this set. I can’t wait to read more from this author. My heart is full!

  9. Angel’s Mommy

I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it. (I purchased the individual book, “Third Time’s the Charm).I just love this series. Ms. Isaacson writes characters with real life struggles and their relationship with God. The characters and plot are written in a matter that I felt like I was right there. I struggled right along side with them. That they are my friends and I hate to see their stories end. At least the characters are recurring so you don’t lose complete touch with them.I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves real life like inspirational romance.

  10. C Vargas

If I had read the first book first that might have been the last. Book two is still my favorite of the three and the third very suspenseful. Great stories and writing skill. I recommend this collection and I’m sure all the rest are just as entrancing. Clean complex romance that keeps moving is what I enjoy.

  11. Kindle Customer

Each book has a theme that will make you think about where your life has taken you. Knowing that others have been in that position. And how they learned to survive to live a productive day to day existence is a valuable lesson. Thank you.

  12. Vicki L. Spiers

Liz Isaacson has become my favorite author. The Three River Ranch was amazing. I couldn’t put the book down. I can’t wait to read about more of the members of the ranch. I highly recommend this author to all readers who want a clean, meaning no explicit sexual content or bad language kind of book. Just an old fashioned love story. I love it when a book makes you cry right along with the character.

  13. Kindle Customer

Having spent much of my youth on a ranch northeast of Amarillo, this series has felt like coming home. These stories are heartwarming and all include an element of healing. Love that these are clean with characters that are still swoon-worthy. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

  14. Karen Andrews

I love Liz Isaacson’s books. I have a very stressful job, so after work I will open one of her books and be transported to a place of love and family and faith. Always a great read.

  15. Chelsea Houser

I enjoyed reading these books. The plot moved at a good pace . Character development was good they grew witg each seperate installment of the story. Main characters were easily followed and matured through out the book. Enjoyed how faith and God was woven through each story.

  16. L Smith

Book #1 was my favorite. And I would have given it 5 stars. The other two were also good, just not as good. Also I found several minor errors that proofreaders missed.

  17. sunset reader

I liked the books. Sappy?Yes, but I like sappy. When are we WOMAN not that way for a good clean LOVE story? I can also relate to the men being thru the war and still carrying it with them. My husband is one of those men. He still hasn’t gotton over it even after over fourty years. It changes them but with God’s help they can make it thru which the author is saying in the story. We had horses for years and they do sense your feelings, whether you are hurting inside or feeling good with no worries. God made animals for a reason, they love you no matter what. I liked the book and want to read more!!

  18. Viv

I enjoy a good story but this was 3 good stories that could be based on real life. Love has a way of holding on when it should be let go. I’m sure the rest of the stories will be just as good.

  19. Jeanne

Really enjoy reading anything by Liz Isaacson and Elana Johnson. Such engaging clean stories with such depth of characters and well developed story lines. Not the typical cowboy romance. Very well done!

  20. reader2010

All three books were well done. I enjoyed that they are more true to real life. The characters had doubts and fears as the rest of us do. Good job

  21. Kindle Customer

I enjoyed all three of these books. I loved the characters and the stories. I recommend them to all. If you haven’t read Liz and Elana then you don’t know what you’re missing.

  22. Jennie Pendergast

Loved being with this author again. Squire Pete and Brett had a lot of army wounds. Also other things to workout. The girls in their lives did too. But all worked out in the end. Will read more by this author soon.

  23. Diana

Cowboys in different stages of life interacting with each other and the women and clients God send their way. Encouraging without being preachy . I love how the stories are all unique but have characters you can recognize from one book to the next.

  24. Charlotte

Enjoyed this series but, must have skipped this one So happy went back and read it. I try to read all of books by this author. Be sure and begin with book one if you can.

  25. Martha Lewis

Loved these three stories! I have read a few of her books and enjoyed them. Can be read separately but best read in order. All are about hurting, damaged people and their slow healing and, in the end, perfect loves.

  26. JoGlo

I enjoyed this set of romance, family results of war time series. They were well written and entertaining with some drama.

  27. Green Owl

Liz Isaacson is a skilled writer with a great story. This whole series is very addictive and I can hardly wait to find out what happens next. The stories are stand alone but it adds an important back story to read them in order. This boxed set is great but you can buy them separately also.

  28. anonymous

This was a nice relaxing set of books, easy to read, likeable characters, sweet stories. I enjoy reading to relax and unwind, and this set of books did that for me. It didn’t always seem realistic, but I’m ok with that when it comes to novels. What I did not care for was the missing words and typos; as the books progressed, there were more, as though the author was trying to finish and rushed to do so without careful editing. This is common with e-books, but I still don’t care for it.

  29. Kindle Customer

I enjoyed all 3 of these stories. I really loved the second one most, though they were all good. Really good characters and enjoyable storylines.

  30. Kindle Customer

I loved all three books but especially the third book. God sometimes we are not clear about what God is directing us to do. We are not able to see and know the things he does. But followinf God’s directions is important.

  31. Kindle Customer

I just loved reading these 3 books. I always love reading books that have a religious theme to it. I read the last book in 1 day. I could not put it down. I love animal’s and the idea of using them to help people with there problems.

  32. Jo

Families can be complicated and messy. I do not know how people that do not know the lord can make it.

  33. suzette

These three stories fit together like just one book. However, there are enough differences to keep the reader interested. Enjoy the ride.

  34. Cathy Smith

Good story line and makes you want to read the next book. Characters are well developed and you want to know where their story is going. I would highly recommend this series of books and this author. As a matter of fact, I am now reading the 4th book in this series.

  35. Kathy Jenkins

Amazing book, I couldn’t stop reading! Very well written, interesting characters, 3 very nice christian based love stories. This is the first I’ve read any of Ms Isaacson’s books, but it won’t be my last. Unfortunately, as a disabled senior, I have no extra money to buy books, however thankfully, when I got it, it was free. Even if you do have to pay for it, it will definitely be worth it, and you’ll be glad you did!

  36. Lynda Knapp

Wow, I can’t decide which book I liked better. I had read book 1 before, but was happy to read it again. Squire and Kelly, Pete and Chelsea, Brett and Kate – I enjoyed them all.

  37. Amazon customer Naida

Enjoyed each and every one of the books, although I had already read the first one several months ago thanks.

  38. Kindle Customer

This series is one about the people on this ranch.these are veterans and some with PST and physical injuries that

  39. Sherri Hayes

I enjoyed all 3stories and how they went together!! Love cowboy background and with the military twist! Looking forward to next story!!

  40. Judy Smith

I love series because the characters become like friends. Three Rivers Ranch is just that. The storyline is believable and you get a sense of satisfaction at the end of every book, yet you want more so you seek out the next book. Thank you Liz Isaacson for your creativity.

  41. kitkat

No doubt about it, this author knows how to write! Excellent storylines, draws you in and makes it easy to identify with the characters. The second book should have come with a little warning that one might need tissues or you may have trouble seeing the words due to the tears…..at least that was my issue…powerful writing when one can evoke real emotions from the reader, IMO. Each book can be a stand alone read, but the stories are so good, you’ll be glad to have the first 3 in a set and I was just able to get book 4 and the Christmas story of Three Rivers. Plus, each book, the author approached the writing of the story a little writing style difference, that is refreshing and enjoyable to read. Reading how these special military men dealt with injuries and home life after they gave of themselves to fight for us to stay free and safe, and then come home, and work that they still were/are helping others. I loved the idea of the ranch using the horses to help others heal, mentally, emotionally and physically. But the people alone, I loved them! It gives me hope of all the good people out side my little area doing so much good, and so caring, even as they themselves struggle with their own issues. This is a definite good, clean, inspirational read, well done.

  42. Cindy

Book 3 was my favorite. I enjoyed Brett and Kate’s story. All in all, nice, quick reads of the romantic variety…just like I like it!

  43. Gramy of five

All the books were interesting and endearing. Flawed men who had suffered in the military and struggled to get well found women who complete them.

  44. Samuel Garrison

Great reads. Hard to put the book down. It’s surprising how easy it is to slide different people in and out of their rolls.

  45. Amazon Customer

It was good. I enjoyed each story. I liked that there were twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. I like that. I liked having 3 stories to read and not have to wait to read the next story.

  46. pc

Three stories about second chances. Each couple has experienced heartache but takes a chance on a new love or working on an old one

  47. Kindle Customer

It’s important to never give up on God, His time line is not like we want sometime. But when things are right it will happen the way it needs to. We make mistakes, but we can be forgiven.

  48. Skydanzer

Excellent series. Great story with likable flawed characters. Love the manner of how Author shows God’s healing mercy and grace. Always woven into the story like a warm coffee on a cold winter morn. Never preachy or hammered home. This is a series I highly recommend to my ebook friends who deserve the best.

  49. Holly Lenz

The Three Rivers Ranch Romance Box set is a lovely collection of three clean, Christian, second (or third) chance romances. The books include the stories of three soldiers/ veterans who live on the ranch and the women who steal their hearts. These are about healing, redemption, forgiveness, and love. The narrator of the audiobook is well suited to the books and does a lovely job bringing them to life.

  50. Ellen Oceanside

SECOND CHANCETwo young people who both need second chances in life, live and happiness. The scars run deep for both of them, and a child needs their love and the open spaces of the ranch. Another good story of life on the ranch. A good series that tugs at one’s heart, as they come to the ranch for healing with the peace and quiet.

  51. Kindle Customer

This set contains three stories. They are stories of people who have been hurt but learn to walk by faith. As I read them I often smiled and occasionally I shed tears. The people in them were in very different situations but had to learn to trust God and walk by faith. They were hard to put down. I am about to start her next book in this series now.

  52. Amazon Customer

Love reading this series. Always a turn or twist in the quest for love. A bond of friendship & family. Good to read such positive uplifting stories. Love how they work with horses to bring some healing & peace to individuals.

  53. Nicole

All three books are great. They hold your attention and they go along in sequence. I love books that are continuation with previous characters in the books. They show you faults you have and how to overcome them with Gods help. You also get to see a few of the problems our Great Men face after serving to protect us and how they overcome it. Great reads and can’t wait to read the remaining.

  54. Sue Ferryman

I totally enjoyed reading Three Rivers Romance Box Set. Love Liz Isaacson’s writing. Each book was different, yet intertwined. I thoroughly enjoyed each book.

  55. Rajday penco

Interesting stories of the various characters. Very good family oriented stories with emphasis on God and church attendance and guidance from a higher being.Vivid description of the town in Texas which gives the reader a sense of the climate and way of life.

  56. K.M.M.88

I really enjoyed these books. The characters are well-developed, making you care about their relationships and their devotion to the ranch. Western romances almost always include an alpha cowboy, and these books are no exception, but the women are just as strong willed and feisty enough to create romantic tension. Definitely worth your time if you enjoy Western romances with true heart.

  57. SouthernAngel

All three books were clean and sweet. There was a great story line through each one, very believable characters and interesting live lessons. I enjoyed all three books and I recommend them to all.

  58. Amazon Customer

I am loving this series. I was so into the books, I couldn’t put them down. I love this type of feel good, clean love story. Don’t get me wrong, they still have ups and downs and some sad parts. But it ends with boy meets girl, boy gets girl, with some life lessons thrown in.

  59. KM

I enjoyed reading this book. The characters are engaging and amazing the connection is undeniable throughout the pages. The storyline flowed easily throughout the pages. A must read!

  60. Kindle Customer

Three servicemen, good friends all in deployment after deployment together..then the one that changed lives completely two injured, one more so than the other..the third a hero. Each man has his own story to tell, other than the one of war.Three stories well told, much of it taking place at the Three Rivers Ranch. Three men’s stories impacted by God’s Hand in their lives, their decisions, even when it might not be clear to them He was working with them on decisions made.Three women whose stories are told at the same time, their lives intersecting with the three men, love stories, seriously told..I found as the Reader, it was hard to lay the book down, even when one story ended & another began. Again, stories well written, believable, & so current to our times.I think you’ll find as I did, when it’s well written, you want to read until you get to the end & part you doesn’t want it to end. Enjoy!

  61. Kindle Customer

Good reads. Each story of Three Rivers Ranch about overcoming disaster/tragedy in their own lives From healing of battle injuries to messy divorce

  62. Kindle Customer

Each book was written well to keep you interested until the end with great endings. Would recommend reading to understand what our brave and wounded soldier. Went through.

  63. Barbara C. Haney

This book was was one of the best I have read in years. It kept my interest from page one through the last page. I wanted it to keep going. It was full of love, excitement (short lived) disappointments and superior endings for each part of the book. Loved it!!!

  64. B Carpenter

Three Rivers Ranch Romance Box Set, books 1-3, written by Liz Isaacson, are the first three books that I’ve read by this author.I put detailed reviews under each book, but for this set I’ll just summarize…Book 1 & 2 I thought were excellent reads! Loved the characters and how great the storyline flowed. Some cliche things within the books that I have to agree with some other reviewers with, but not anything that took me to disliking either of the first 2 books. The third book, I had a love/hate for Kate, but Brett made up for all of it 😀 The character of Kate kind of drove me crazy, but not so much that I couldn’t enjoy the book. I was excited for the ending and was pleased with how the author chose to work out the end of the book.I would recommend this set of the first three books of this series as I did enjoy them and look forward to finishing off the series!

  65. MelK

A great way to start the Three Rivers Ranch series. The storylines are compelling and the characters are interesting. Each of the 3 stories is a standalone, but they do flow from one to the other. I recommend this boxset.

  66. LEMB

I just finished all three of these books and I loved each one! The third one, though, I got VERY frustrated at the girl, Kate, and all of her stupid decisions. But loved all three guys and the other two girls. Great Christian stories that kept my interest the whole way through. Great writing. Highly recommend and am going to see what else Ms. Isaacson has written.

  67. Kathy Brightman

Haven’t found a book that I don’t like that Liz is written. This book has lots of twists and turns in the romantic game of life. Especially love the ending. Must get and add to your book list

  68. Nina Burgett

Liz Isaacson has proven good reading can be clean. Her way of taking real life situations then adding just the right amount of suspense, romance, drama, and intrigue creates a recipe that keeps the reader fully engaged, anticipating what is next. If you like to feel good when you finish a story, read Liz Isaacson. She will never let you down.

  69. Nanette Littlestone, Author

You won’t want to miss this collection. Isaacson gives us flawed and relatable characters that are universally appealing. From Kelly and Squire, to Pete and Chelsea, to Brett and Kate, each couple will take you on a journey of love and heartache that results in that so anticipated HEA. I cheered for them all. And I can’t wait to read the first story of Frank and Heidi that began it all.

  70. Ms. Hancock

“Second Chance Ranch” is a story of love, redemption, and second chances (obviously since it is found in the title). Squire and Kelly have a love story that is not typically for most romance authors, it is different without being too different. When you dive into this story you will meet two characters that could be your next door neighbors if you didn’t look hard enough.”Third Time’s the Charm” is a wonderful tale of healing, peace, and hope that takes place within two people that never thought it could happen to them. People say that time heals all wounds, but for these two people horses actually have the magical touch. Some say that God works in mysterious ways, and that is seen throughout this beautifully told novel.”Fourth and Long” is a beautiful story about second chances, even when they aren’t the easiest thing to come by. Brett and Kate where married for only a short time before he was shipped out for a tour in Iraq, but what he didn’t know was that even though Kate had asked for a divorce two months into his tour- it was never finalized. Kate found out she was pregnant and now she is back, multiple years later, to finally tell Brett the truth. Is it too late?

  71. Karen Semones

If you like reading clean romance books, “Three Rivers Ranch Romance” books are sure to please. The Three Rivers Ranch seems to be a place of healing for men who served together in the Army and end up on this ranch. Besides healing in mind, body, and soul they end up falling in love with women they meet from social gatherings at the ranch or in town.

  72. Janine O

Really enjoyed all 3 books. You have to be ok with the men having PTSD and being rather dark but I have great respect for our military and enjoy reading about happy endings after tragic events. Liz does a great job of writing a story with depth, presenting the issues but keeping it realistic. Would love to read more of her books.

  73. The Voracious Reader

This is a boxed set of the first three books in the Three Rivers Ranch series. I enjoyed them all. The three books averaged 4.5, which rounded up to a five for the set.Second Chance Ranch – 5I loved the main characters here and enjoyed their story. I’ve lived in the South all my life, and I’ve never heard anyone use “ya’ll” to mean only one person as happened here. “Taught” was used for “teach” and “quick” for “quickly,” but it was a good book.Third Time’s the Charm – 4.5Peter Marshall is too well-known of a historical figure to be naming a main character that. The story is good, although the separation was too drawn out, making the ending lacking. But I love a wounded hero like Pete, and their story held me.Fourth and Long – 4The story was interesting, but it held so much heart break and misery that I had a hard time enjoying it. The ending also needed to have been stronger to offset all the emotional turmoil of the story, but, although happy, it was pretty weak. I couldn’t see a chow as a lapdog either.

  74. M. Moore CA USA

This was a great story line, very believable and interesting. I enjoyed all three books that were in this boxed set. They were tired together in a way that made it feel like I’d just read one book, but each book could have been read as a stand alone. I truly enjoyed this author and will definitely read the rest of the stories in this series and happily start any new books from Liz Isaacson.

  75. Thomas

Book 1 thru 3 are a wonderful story line, as a 35 year veteran of the Navel service I thought the armed forces mix was an awesome addition. I would highly recommend these three books for deployed service members who have a romantic sense of duty. Starting book 4 now.

  76. Reader2

I liked the fact that the second and third books include characters from the preceding books, so you get to find out a little more about the characters from the first and second books. (You definitely want to read the books in order.) I thought all of the books were well written and the characters were well developed. The stories are about 3 military men who were friends overseas, and the women who fall in love with them. The plots may have been a tad cliche but that’s expected with this type of book. I “very” much enjoyed the fact that all three stories were told without the “F” word and descriptive sex on every page. Well done!

  77. Carolyn Horn

These stories were airway to read. You felt like you knew the characters and couldn’t wait to see what happened next!

  78. Kindle Customer

Kathy has become one of my favorite authors. She weaves a tale that is so true to life you think you could run into the people on your street. Of course, the glory goes to God who makes all things new. Loved each story.
