She's buttercream sunshine to his serious doctor persona (with a secret rough-around-the-edges past). They're fake dating so they don't let his grandma down.

I get super swoony over marriage of convenience stories. I love Legally Wedded because it features the sweetest heroine with the purest intentions—swept into a crazy situation with a great guy, who she could love, but even though they're married, huge obstacles (internal and external) keep them apart. So much longing between Morgan and Josh!

I love this book because it takes the fake-dating trope and flips it. (I think you'll love it whether you're familiar with Sense and Sensibility or not!)

I love the mountain farm setting, Lila's optimism and vulnerability, as well as the scene where Perry feeds Lila apples, because *chef kiss*.

The Love List

Do you like to make lists, or read about people more your own age than a 20-something? I also love lunching with friends and the beach. That's why I wrote THE LOVE LIST. I love Marred from Cliffside Bay because I combine two of my favorite tropes--enemies to lovers and a surprise baby. My hero's character arc from playboy to adoring father, helped along by his single mom nanny, touches my soul.

Writing a billionaire female protagonist who was both deeply broken (literally, a broken back), and intensely strong proved quite challenging. I researched wheelchair users extensively, and all those hours were worthwhile. More fans message me about this book than any other. Everyone adores Brekka and the man who loved fiercely enough to break through her diamond-hard shell.

This one has all of my favorite things: grumpy/sunshine, protector vibes, next-door neighbors, and a witty & bookish hero (who bonds with the sassy/bookish daughter of our heroine). And while it is a lighthearted read, both the hero and heroine lost their spouses in the past, so I loved helping them find love again!

I like this book because it features a crush worthy male lead who gets a second chance to win the heart of the woman he truly loves.

I love books that involve sacrifice and I love rooting for the underdog. I'm also a sucker for a strong, silent hero. And if that hero gently changes a baby's diaper and puts them to bed, my heart is mush. Torque is my most popular hero of all time and his love story with Cassidy is both one of my most popular and one of my personal favorites.

As what my husband calls a pessi-realist, I LOVE getting inside the head of a plucky heroine who's an optimist like Eloise. Pairing her with a growly, serious grump like Jake is my total catnip. Add in some secret tattoos, a little bit of groveling, and some animal attacks and you've got a lot of my favorite things in high concentration.
